The Life of Adriaen van Utrecht
Adriaen van Utrecht was born on 12 January 1599 in Antwerp, the son of Abel van Utrecht and Anne Huybrechts. On 05 September 1628 Adriaen married Constance van Nieulant in Sint Joris and together they had 12 children.
Before joining the Guild of Saint Luke in 1625, Adriaen spent a few years working in Italy. Adriaen was a Brabant Baroque painter and belonged to the Antwerp school.
