Jan Davidsz. de Heem made a composition here of various flowers, including a tulip, a rose, a cowslip and wheat, in a glass vase in which the reflection of the stained-glass window can be seen, with detailed depictions of the stems in the water. The vase is placed on a stone plinth on which insects can be seen, like on the flowers. It is a complete variety of ants, butterflies, spiders and bees, among others.
