Date: 1640 - 1645
The painting shows bread and fish on pewter plates, with a saltshaker, knife and hazelnuts. The glass is what was known in those days as a rummer, a wine glass with a convex calyx and thick hollow stem, which has been provided with studs. The reflections of light are very well depicted in the glass.
